his prayer, based on Psalm 54, is a prayer asking for defense when our enemies seem to surround us. These could be personal enemies or things bad habits.

Prayer for Defense

Based on Psalm 54

Defend me my Father!
I trust in your strength.
I know you hear me when I call to you.

Defend me my Lord!
Hear what I am asking.
Listen to my words.

Defend me my Companion!
You are with me.
You hold me up.

Defend me my Champion!
Protect me from harm.
From other people and my own weakness.

Defend me my Provider!
All good things come from you.
I am grateful.

Defend me my Savior!
You have rescued me many times.
I know you will do it again.

Amen.
