January 22 is the anniversary of the Roe vs Wade decision which legalized abortion in the United States. It is designated as the “Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children”. It is a day of prayer and penance.
Pray for the a conversion of hearts in our nation to value the dignity of each human life in our nation. Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of the pro-life cause, pray for us!

Grieving the loss of a loved one can be a long process. It is natural for many to turn to God in these times. Although it can also be normal to experience anger, disappointment in God, or a general lack of faith. Don't despair! God is still there. He is waiting for you and patiently allows each of us to grieve in our own way.
