Materials Needed:
- Smooth stones (one per person)
- Paint pens (assorted colors)
- Paper towels or newspaper (to protect surfaces)
Instructions:
- Wash and dry the stones to remove any dirt or dust.
- Use paint pens to write a word like “pray,” “faith,” or “trust” on the rock.
- Add decorations such as a cross, heart, or smiley face.
- Let the paint dry completely before using the rock.
Notes and Variations:
- Instead of paint pens, use acrylic paint and small brushes.
- For extra protection, seal the rock with clear spray paint (use in a well-ventilated area).
- Add a Bible verse or short prayer on the back of the rock.
- Give prayer rocks as gifts to family, friends, or shut-ins.
- Be careful when handling small stones around young children to avoid choking hazards.
