Why use videos about institutional racism? Racism can be a difficult topic for youth ministry. Most teens will understand that individual acts of racism are wrong. But the topic of institutional racism is more difficult. How are we as a society responsible for structures that promote racial divides?

Glow in the Dark Ring Toss is a fun easy game for any “light” themed youth ministry meeting or Vacation Bible School. It only requires a few materials – glow sticks and water bottles.
Guide Me to Heaven is a game which helps youth understand the importance of clear instructions and helping each other stay on the right path. It goes well with a meeting focused on friends or the teaching of the Church.
A rosary slide bracelet or keychain is a nice craft to remind children and teens to pray. I like making the key-chain which can actually be used for keys for teenagers. Or if they don’t need a key chain they can hang it on their backpack or just keep it in their pocket to remind them to pray.
Or maybe it should be called “Uncrown the King” because the goal is to knock off other player’s crowns and keep your own. This is an active game, so it is best played outdoors, in a gym, or in a meeting room with some open space.
