In this prayer for guidance we surrender to God's will so he can show us the path to take. This prayer is based on Psalm 25.

God, I give my whole self to you.
I trust in you.
You keep me from getting lost.

Teach me the right path.
Show me the direction I should go.
You know the best way.

Please forgive me when I go the wrong way.
Show your mercy when I don't follow your directions.

You are good and kind.
You care about me and teach me.
You show me how to be closer to you.

I know you are always there for me.
You want to help me make good decisions.
Following you brings me blessings.

Sometimes I feel like I don't have any good choices.
I am afraid.
But I know you will rescue me.

I will wait patiently for your guidance.
I trust in you.
You will save me and show me what to do.

Amen.
