Materials Needed:
- Glow sticks (capable of forming bracelets)
- Empty plastic water bottles (one for each glow stick color, at least three recommended)
Instructions:
- Activate a glow stick by cracking it, then place each one into a separate water bottle, each representing a different color of light.
- Distribute glowing bracelets (cracked glow sticks) to each participant, ensuring they have one of each color.
- Position the players about five feet away from the bottles, challenging them to toss the bracelet onto the matching color bottle.
- Players must retrieve and retry tossing any misplaced or missed bracelets, striving to match all correctly.
Adapting to Group Size and Dynamics:
- For smaller groups, encircle the bottles to foster a sense of community.
- In larger or more dynamic settings, taking turns can maintain order and ensure everyone’s participation.
- Encourage ongoing play until each participant succeeds, fostering a spirit of encouragement and collective cheer.
Additional Tips:
- To stabilize the bottles, consider adding some water to each.
- Emphasize the spiritual lessons inherent in the game, such as persistence in faith, the joy of communal support, and the guiding light of God in our lives.
