Setup Instructions
- Ask everyone to stand in a circle.
- Make sure they are standing far enough apart so they can move their arms safely.
- If needed, leave extra space between players to allow for social distancing.
- Choose one player to start the game.
How to Play
- The first player says “Ah” while putting their left hand over their head and pointing to someone with their left pointer finger.
- The person who was pointed to says “So” while putting their right hand over their head and pointing to someone with their right pointer finger.
- The next person says “Co” while putting both arms out straight in front, pointing with both pointer fingers.
- The next person starts over by saying “Ah” and doing the correct motion.
- If someone says the wrong word or does the wrong motion, they are out and must step out of the circle.
- When someone makes a mistake, everyone else shouts a fun phrase together. For example, “Zip Zap!” or something that fits your group’s theme.
- Keep playing until only one person is left, or until you feel it’s time to end.
Notes and Variations
- For younger groups, go slowly at first to help them learn.
- You can play without eliminating players if you just want to have fun.
- Try adding a silly penalty like doing a dance or telling a joke instead of sitting out.
- Be sure everyone is kind and encouraging.
- Remind players to be careful with their arm movements so no one gets poked or hit.
