Setup Instructions
- Gather all items and pictures listed in the materials.
- Write the words for the abstract concepts on separate pieces of paper.
- Arrange a space where items or pictures can be displayed.
- Keep all items and pictures out of sight from the players until it’s their turn.
- Have a small prize ready for correct answers.
Game Play Instructions
- Select a Contestant: Invite one person to “come on down” like in a game show.
- Present the Items: Show the contestant four items from the first list (everyday items).
- Order the Items: Ask the contestant to arrange the items from lowest price to highest price. The audience can offer suggestions.
- Check and Reward: If the order is correct, give the contestant a small prize.
- Next Contestant: Repeat the process with a new contestant, using three everyday items and one concept from the second list.
- Final Round: For the last contestant, use one everyday item and three concepts from the second list.
Notes
- Variations:
- Change the items or concepts based on the group’s interests.
- Use different themes, like “things you can do” or “qualities in a friend.”
- Play additional rounds as time permits
- Safety:
- Ensure that all items used are safe and appropriate for the group.
- If using real items, handle them with care.
