Setup Instructions

  1. Have everyone spread out in the play area.
  2. Make sure there is enough space for everyone to move safely.

Game Play Instructions

  1. Explain the basic commands: When you say “walk,” everyone walks. When you say “stop,” everyone stops.
  2. Practice these commands a few times until everyone understands.
  3. Add a new command: When you say “clap,” everyone claps once. If they are walking, they keep walking while clapping.
  4. Practice walking, stopping, and clapping several times.
  5. Change the walking and stopping commands. Now, “stop” means walk, and “walk” means stop. “Clap” still means clap once.
  6. Play this way for a few minutes. Enjoy the confusion and laughter.
  7. For more challenge, add another command. For example, “tap” means tap your forehead. You can also reverse the “clap” and “tap” commands if desired.

Additional Notes

  • Ensure there is enough space to avoid collisions.
  • Remind players to be mindful of others and avoid running.
  • For more variations, you can add different commands or change the meaning of existing commands. For example, “jump” could mean jump once, or “spin” could mean turn around once.
  • Always keep the game fun and safe. Stop if anyone seems confused or frustrated.
