Based on Psalm 121

I have so much on my mind.
I run to the mountain,
Trying to escape all that overwhelms me.
But now that I am here,
I know the mountain cannot save me.

It is not the mountain I am seeking.
I am seeking you my Lord.

For you made the mountain.
You made the sky it touches.
All creation serves you.

Even though the sun rises and sets,
You never sleep.
You are always protecting me.
I hear my name and I know you are near.
I have found what I sought on the mountain.

I don’t need the mountain.
I need you my Lord.

Amen.
