The goal of this kingdoms game is to form kingdoms. The largest kingdom wins! All you need are materials to make a list so it is super easy. This could be used as a youth group game or even a middle school VBS game.

Lost on a Deserted Island is a fun icebreaker for VBS or youth ministry. Our Vacation Bible School program includes a middle school age group. For this group we create our own program. We always start the first day with some simple teambuilding activities like this one.

Turkey Hunt is a Thanksgiving game for your youth group. You will need an open area, but it can be played indoors. The best part is that it doesn’t require any materials, so you can use it as a bonus game or time filler without any preparation.

This icebreaker is a little like musical chairs or Duck Duck Goose. It involves getting up and moving to an empty seat. The question is, do you love your neighbor or not? 🙂

Buried Treasure is a fun game for all ages. It works well for Vacation Bible School or youth ministry. Everyone enjoys playing in a sandbox! For older players, use smaller treasures to make them more difficult to find. 

This game is meant to go with the scripture passage in which Jesus explains “It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for one who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
