November 2027
Mass Readings and Free Resources
The readings November 2027 speak about faith, trust, and hope in God’s care. We remember the saints who show us how to follow Jesus with courage and love. The stories of the widows teach that true giving comes from trust, not wealth. As the Church year ends, the focus turns to Christ as our true King whose rule lasts forever. The month then moves into Advent, a season of waiting and watchfulness. We are reminded to pray, grow in love, and stay ready for the coming of Christ.
November 2027 is Year B in the Sunday liturgical cycle and Year 1 in the weekday cycle.
Year C starts on Sunday November 28. See Mass readings resources for specific Sundays and feast days in for November 2027 here.

Solemnity of All Saints
Monday November 1, 2027
All Saints Day on November 1 honors every saint in heaven. Some saints are well known, while many others are known only to God. The Church thanks God for their faithful lives. They followed Jesus and stayed close to Him. Their example shows us how to live with faith, kindness, and courage each day. Catholics also ask the saints to pray for them and help them grow in holiness.
This feast also reminds us that we are all called to be saints. The Church teaches that all believers are joined together as one family in Christ. The saints in heaven pray for us as we continue our journey. Around the world, people celebrate with Mass, prayer, and visits to cemeteries. The day is filled with hope as we remember our goal of eternal life with God.
32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time
Sunday November 7, 2027
The 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B shows how trust in God can guide simple acts of giving. In the first reading, a widow shares her last food with Elijah during a famine. She chooses to believe God will care for her. In the Gospel, another widow quietly offers two small coins at the temple. Jesus says her gift means more because she gives all she has.
These readings remind us that God sees the heart behind our actions. Real generosity is not about the amount we give. It is about trust and love. Jesus also warns against pride and empty show. The day invites us to live with humble faith and to share what we have with others.
33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time
Sunday November 14, 2027
The 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B speaks about difficult times but also gives hope. Daniel describes trouble in the world, yet God will save those who stay faithful. The psalm reminds us that God stays close and guides us. Hebrews tells us that Jesus offered one sacrifice for sin. Because of Him, forgiveness is lasting and we can live with trust.
In the Gospel, Jesus talks about signs that will come before His return. He tells His followers to stay watchful and believe His words. Even when the world seems uncertain, God remains in control. This Sunday encourages us to hold on to faith and look ahead with steady hope.
Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe
Sunday November 21, 2027
The Solemnity of Christ the King Year B honors Jesus as the ruler over all people and all time. The readings show that His kingdom comes from God and will never end. Daniel speaks of the Son of Man receiving lasting authority. Revelation reminds us that Jesus loves us and freed us from sin. His rule is steady and full of hope.
In the Gospel, Jesus speaks with Pilate about His kingdom. He says it does not belong to this world. His mission is to speak the truth and lead people to it. This feast invites us to follow Christ as our King. When we listen to Him and live by His words, we share in His kingdom.
1st Sunday of Advent
Sunday November 28, 2027
The 1st Sunday of Advent Year C begins a new Church year and turns our thoughts toward Christ’s coming. The readings speak about God’s promises and the hope they bring.
