This day also brings hope and joy. God is at work in us and will finish what He started. We are called to grow in love and make good choices. Advent is a time to act with kindness and trust. As we wait, we help make a clear path for Christ in our lives.
Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Wednesday December 8, 2027
The Immaculate Conception teaches that Mary was kept free from original sin from the first moment of her life. God chose her for a special purpose as the mother of Jesus. This shows God’s care and plan from the very beginning. The Church celebrates this on December 8 to honor her unique role and to remember how God prepared her.
Mary’s life points us toward trust and obedience. She said yes to God and followed His plan with faith. She is called the new Eve because her choice helped bring hope to the world. We can look to her example as we try to follow God each day with simple faith and trust.

This Sunday also calls us to act with love. John the Baptist tells people to share and be fair. Small acts of care matter. When we give and help others, we show that we are ready for Jesus. Joy grows when we live this way and remember that God is near.
4th Sunday of Advent
Sunday December 19, 2027
The 4th Sunday of Advent Year C points us to God’s promise coming true. A ruler will come from Bethlehem, a small and simple place. This shows that God often works in quiet ways. We are reminded that He keeps His word and brings peace to His people. As Christmas draws close, we wait with trust and steady hope.
Mary’s visit to Elizabeth shows what faith looks like in action. They greet each other with joy because they believe God’s plan. Their meeting shows how trust leads to joy and unity. We are invited to welcome Jesus with open hearts and to live with care and kindness as we prepare.

Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus. He came into the world in a simple place in Bethlehem. This shows God’s love for all people. His birth brings hope and light into our lives. On this day, we gather to pray, sing, and give thanks. We remember that Jesus came to save us and guide us.
The joy of Christmas continues for eight days. Each day helps us stay close to what this season means. We remember the saints and grow in faith. Traditions like Mass, meals, and time with others help us share this joy. Christmas invites us to live with love and peace each day.
Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph
Sunday December 26, 2027
The Feast of the Holy Family Year C shows that Jesus grew up in a real family. Mary and Joseph cared for Him and guided Him. When they lost Him in Jerusalem, they felt worry and confusion. This reminds us that family life is not always easy. God is still present in those moments and works through them.
This day calls us to build peace at home through simple choices. We are asked to be patient, kind, and ready to forgive. Respect and care for one another help families stay strong. Prayer and trust in God also matter. By living this way each day, we grow closer to God and to each other.
