June 2027

Mass Readings and Free Resources

June 2027 focuses on trusting God in all parts of life. The readings show that people fail and feel fear, but God stays close and offers help. They remind us that faith often grows slowly, like a seed. We are called to trust even when we do not see results right away. Jesus shows that we belong to Him when we follow God’s will. He brings peace, healing, and new life when we turn to Him.

June 2027 is Year B in the Sunday liturgical cycle and Year 1 in the weekday cycle.

Sundays and Holy Days in June 2027

10th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Sunday June 6, 2027

The 10th Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B shows how sin breaks trust with God, but God still reaches out. Adam and Eve turn away and try to hide. The psalm reminds us to call out for mercy and trust in forgiveness. Paul tells us to keep faith even when life is hard, because God has more in store for us.

In the Gospel, Jesus says His true family is those who do God’s will. This means we belong to Him through faith and action. The readings invite us to turn back to God when we fail and to live as part of His family each day.

11th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Sunday June 13, 2027

The 11th Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B reminds us that God often begins with what seems small. A tiny seed grows into something much larger. A small branch becomes a strong tree. These images help us see that growth takes time and often happens quietly, without us noticing each step.

We are asked to wait and trust. Faith means moving forward even when we cannot see the outcome. God raises up the lowly and cares for those who depend on Him. We do our part by living with trust each day, and God brings the growth in His own time.

12th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Sunday June 20, 2027

The 12th Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B brings us into scenes of wind and waves. People feel fear, but God remains in charge. In Job, God sets limits for the sea. The psalm shows sailors calling out and being saved. These readings remind us that God sees our struggles and stays near.

In the Gospel, Jesus stills the storm and asks why they are afraid. He invites us to trust Him when life feels out of control. Paul says we are made new in Christ and called to live in a new way. Even when we feel shaken, Jesus is with us and gives us peace.

13th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Sunday June 27, 2027

The 13th Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B centers on life and hope. God made all things for life, not for death. The psalm speaks of being lifted from sorrow and given joy again. These readings remind us that God cares for us and wants us to live with trust and hope.

In the Gospel, a woman reaches out in faith and is healed. A young girl is raised back to life. These moments show that Jesus brings help when things seem lost. Paul also calls us to share what we have with others. When we trust Jesus and care for others, we share in His life-giving work.
