Mass Readings and Free Resources

The 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B teaches that true faith comes from within. God’s word calls us to live with honesty and love, not just follow rules. Moses reminds the people that God’s laws bring wisdom and life. James tells us to listen to God’s word and act on it with kindness and care.
Jesus teaches that what makes us unclean is not what we touch or eat but what comes from our hearts. Pride, anger, and selfishness cause harm. God asks for clean hearts and sincere actions. These readings help us see that real faith shows in how we treat others and how we live each day with mercy, truth, and humility.
23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time

On the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B, the readings show God’s power to heal and renew. Isaiah tells of a time when the weak are made strong and dry land becomes full of life. The psalm reminds us that God cares for the poor and oppressed. James warns against treating people differently because of wealth, reminding us that all are equal before God.
In the Gospel, Jesus heals a man who cannot hear or speak. This shows His compassion and power to restore. These readings call us to open our hearts to God and to others. Faith means acting with kindness, justice, and mercy toward everyone, especially those who are suffering or in need.

The 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B reminds us that faith is more than words. It calls us to listen to God, trust Him, and act with love. Isaiah speaks about staying faithful even when life is hard. James teaches that real faith shows in how we treat others.
Jesus tells us to take up our cross and follow Him. This means being willing to make sacrifices and face challenges for our faith. When we give our lives to God, we find true life. These readings teach courage, service, and love as the path to following Jesus each day.
25th Sunday in Ordinary Time

The 25th Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B reminds us that true greatness comes through humility and service. The readings show that those who follow God may face unfairness, but they stay faithful because they trust in His care. Jesus teaches that greatness means being the servant of all and welcoming others with love, especially the least among us.
These readings also call us to live with peace, honesty, and kindness. Jealousy and selfishness bring trouble, but God’s wisdom brings calm and goodness. Like a child who trusts completely, we are asked to live with faith and gentleness. The 25th Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B invites us to follow Jesus by putting others first and serving with love.
26th Sunday in Ordinary Time

The readings for the 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B remind us that God’s Spirit moves in many places. God can work through anyone, even those outside our group. We should welcome good works done in His name and be thankful for the many ways He acts in the world.
These readings also warn us to live rightly. We must treat others fairly and avoid sin. Wealth and power should be used to help others, not harm them. Jesus calls us to watch our actions and lead others toward good. God’s Spirit is free, and we are called to live with mercy, justice, and care for one another.
