Saints Peter and Paul, Apostles
Sunday June 29, 2025
On June 29, we celebrate the feast day of Sts. Peter and Paul, two apostles who played key roles in the early Church. Despite past mistakes, both were chosen by God to spread the message of Christ. Peter, originally a fisherman, became the “rock” on which Jesus built His Church, leading the early Christian community with faith and courage. Paul, once a persecutor of Christians, was transformed on the road to Damascus and became a tireless preacher to the Gentiles. Through their lives, Peter and Paul show us that God can work through anyone to share His message.
