March 2034
Mass Readings and Free Resources
March 2034 focuses on change, mercy, and new life. It begins with a glimpse of hope and light, then moves into a time to turn back and grow. It shows that God is patient and gives us chances to start again. We are reminded that we can leave behind sin and move in a better direction. As the weeks pass, the message becomes clearer. God welcomes us back, forgives us, and helps us begin again with hope.
March 2034 is Year C in the Sunday liturgical cycle and Year 2 in the weekday cycle.

Sundays and Holy Days in March 2034
2nd Sunday of Lent
Sunday March 5, 2034
God makes promises and keeps them. Abram looks at the night sky and hears that his family will be as many as the stars. He believes. A smoking fire pot passes between the offerings, sealing the covenant. On a high mountain, Jesus’ face changes and His clothes shine bright. A cloud covers the disciples. A voice tells them to listen. These moments point to God’s steady plan.
In the 2nd Sunday of Lent Year C, we are asked to keep going even when the path is unclear. Some days feel dark or slow. We may not see results right away. Still, we move forward. We listen in prayer. We hold on when things are hard. Like the disciples, we carry that glimpse of light into ordinary days.
3rd Sunday of Lent
Sunday March 12, 2034
Standing before a bush that burns but is not consumed, Moses takes off his sandals and listens. He learns that God sees suffering and does not ignore it. The 3rd Sunday of Lent Year C invites us to look at our own lives with honesty, because change often begins when we stop making excuses and start paying attention.
Paul warns the people by pointing to the past, and Jesus speaks about turning away from sin, and the image of a fig tree that is given more time helps us see that patience does not mean delay forever but a chance to grow now.
4th Sunday of Lent – Laetare Sunday
Sunday March 19, 2034
Some people focus on what was lost, but others notice what has been given. Some see failure, while others see a fresh start. The 4th Sunday of Lent Year C holds both ideas together. It speaks of moving forward after wandering and finding joy again. It is a pause in Lent that lets us breathe and look ahead.
In daily life, this can be like coming home after a long mistake or fixing a broken friendship. We may feel unsure at first. Then relief comes. There is food on the table. There is welcome instead of blame. This kind of joy is simple but real. It helps us keep going.
5th Sunday of Lent
Sunday March 26, 2034
What do you do with mistakes that stay in your memory? The 5th Sunday of Lent Year C points to a way forward. It speaks about leaving the past behind and noticing what is new. Water in dry land and paths in empty places give a clear picture of change that comes from God.
So we move ahead with hope. We do not stay stuck. We take small steps and begin again. Jesus treats the woman with mercy and tells her to live differently. That same path is open to us. We are not held back forever.
